ALPHA GAMMA RHO | Lambda Chapter, University of Minnesota
ALUMNI RELATIONS
Alumni play a critical role in supporting AGR at the University of Minnesota. Alumni facilitate career exploration, create networking opportunities, and enhance student’s professional skills.
- Recruit AGR men for internships and career opportunities
- Speak at dinner to share your career experiences and leadership journey
- Visit the chapter house while you're in the Twin Cities
- Mentor undergraduates as they choose a major and career path
If you would like to engage with the chapter, send a note to our VNR Alumni Relations. We're happy to host alumni any time!
Many AGR alumni are active in the CFANS Mentor Program. We encourage you to learn more and consider this experience.

Cash gifts
Gifts of any size have an immediate impact. Your generosity is put to use for scholarships to collegiate Brothers in leadership roles, to support leadership and professional development experiences for undergraduates, and to support our chapter house facility.
IRA charitable rollover
If you are age 70½ or older, consider a gift from your IRA. Qualified charitable distributions from your IRA may allow you to realize tax advantages. Contact your retirement plan administrator to learn more.
Gifts of retirement assets
Naming AGR as a beneficiary of your retirement account is a simple and tax-advantaged way to support your fraternity.
Simply designate the Alpha Gamma Rho Lambda Chapter Educational Foundation as a beneficiary of your account. Contact your retirement plan administrator to request the appropriate form(s) and requirements to designate a beneficiary.
If you wish to gift retirement assets, please also mail a short confidential note to the Lambda Educational Foundation board chair to share instructions for how you’d like your gift to be used.
